Did they downplay Clive as a ladies man?

I had always heard Clive Sinclair was quite the ladies man, but you really get no indication from this movie about his extracurricular activities. Did anyone else notice that? It seems like a pretty big omission from a movie that is supposed to be presenting the straight scoop. Considering that sex sells, you wouldn't think they would shy away from that aspect of his personality.
