Why did they replace Matthew Fitzgerald?

MF apparently went into real estate. I know I was not feeling this new guy at all. MF was a hottie! I hope if there is a season 3 MF will come back!

Yes! I was gonna say, I'm a straight guy but I am comfortable with my sexuality to say he is a real good looking guy. A true believable brother type for the extremely gorgeous Jennifer Korbin. I was soooo used to seeing this guy and being the way he is, etc. He also is a great contrast to the also pretty-boy surfer dude type Russ who is his best friend.

The only thing I can say about this new guy who is playing Cody is he is a slightly better actor. I still miss Matthew Fitzgerald and wish he'd come back for sure and dont want anyone else as Cody, but MF doesn't look as comfortable into acting as the new guy.

The new guy even though he's a slightly better actor, is extremely ugly. I hate the faces he makes. Plus his body is so out of shape compared to the nicely buffed physique of Matthew Fitzgerald. I dont think the new guy has any right to be given the role of the narcissist that Matthew Fitzgerald had before. I know it's the same role but this is how I feel.

Bottom Line: They should've made Cody's character disappear and do something like go to college in a university or go to some sort of abroad program then if Matthew Fitzgerald ever wanted to come back, then he can show up again whenever. Overall, the new guy sucks so I'm with you both. It was a big mistake to re-cast Cody. Especially with such a downgrade-looking guy. Sorry.

Yea I heard after season 1 wrapped, he decided to quit acting. Oh well....
