*spoilers* (potential)

Unless the "true story" this movie was based on was about how some girl went crazy and murdered her boyfriend before having to figure out how to get away with it, I'm not all that convinced this was just some movie adaptation of a generic ghost story.

"Thinking you're alone when you're not" is a fairly common instinctual stressor. I figured it would be a good little movie about a couple happening on an undiscovered indigenous peoples, which wouldve been infinitely more enjoyable. Instead its a ghost story which, to be honest, seems a bit forced. She toys around with them before killing them? Why? It's not like she "couldn't touch them" because she sure had to be real enough to skin and hang those sea cucumbers. Its not like ahe was testing them if she was already killing innocent people before that. It seems too much like its another supernatural story where the "manevolent being" was giving itself these arbitrary rules it "had to follow", which I could never get behind.

I'm guessing it's more along the lines of "couple thinks they can 'man vs. wild' but then they can't", but then that would make for a fairly boring hour and a half I guess...

It's a Clayton's ghost. A ghost you encounter when you really don't encounter a ghost.🐭
