Great effort from French cinema

I thought this was a very good movie. Feels like a TV show/TV film but still very decent and well-made. I think French cinema produces very good murder/mystery films. I recommend another great French movie "Tell no one" (Original Title: Ne le dis à personne) and the "Swimming Pool" (also starring Ludivine Sagnier).

When Christine started typing the threat message on Isabelle's PC, I thought about the rule we have in my company (a major US bank). We must lock our PCs every time we step away from our cube. It's very annoying but when I watched the movie, I couldn't help saying "this would have not happened if she had locked her PC"

I also couldn't help thinking how it would be if Columbo was brought in to solve the case (I recently got hooked on Columbo TV series on Netflix). He probably would have asked a lot of questions and would've caught a gap. Like the scars on her wrist not being consistent with the fall, how the new knife got broken and ended up in the shed, he probably would have tracked all the purchases Isabelle made and that may have given away things like she saw the same movie 3 times, she purchased the same scarf after the picture was taken, etc. And of course, the pills being just sugar.

I dont understand why people are so ho-hum about this movie.
It was brilliant.
Maybe I just have a boner for Ludvine Sagnier, who knows.

It was a solid movie, with a few plot holes but thoroughly enjoyable IMO

i think that's exactly the point, that the surprise meeting time caused her to forget to lock her comp.

i think that was the whole point, to show that their protocol DOES require locking comps, which is the reason christine's typing that would have been a cast iron frame job.
