Good or Evil

I'm having so much fun playing this game.
When I 1st read about this game, I was a bit unsure about it. I like to be able to switch weapons, so I figured being able to only shoot electricity wouldnt be that much fun. but oh boy is it cool blowing up cars and stuff with bolts of elecrticity from your hands, and sliding along trains tracks and power lines - thats a blast.

anyways, just wondering what path everyone is following - good or evil?
I'm running with good for my 1st play through - then I'll go back and do it as evil

evil first time, looking forwards to playing through as good though

It's my first time playing through it as well. I'm good, though i can't wait to go evil. >:)

I just finished my first play through as good, I'll probably go ahead and give prototype a go through before I go back and play through as evil.

1st run through I couldn't help myself and played the hero. Second run through was even more fun... even though I knew the story, the difference in character appearance and powers did not disappoint. The story did have a few aspects that were different( not big ones... you played it once, you still know the story) because of karma... and it was cool. Game of the year unless this fall brings about something else that blows my mind.

This is the only game I have played through the storyline twice...I just finished the Evil side one and it was completely worth it. I even did a lot of the side missions again (apart from Counter-Surveillance, that was probably my only real complaint as I found it tedious). Game of the year indeed and can't wait for the sequel.

btw, they said Batman Begins was an inspiration and as I played it the 1st time, thats exactly what I was feeling (despite major differences in story). Hoping the sequel is gonna be like The Dark Knight...bigger and better with a very interesting antagonist! (Hopefully The Beast won't just be a mindless monster)

I've started of as good then I did the evil missions.

i started evil stayed evil plan to go good afterwards, but do have certain moments when i think ...should i do 1 good deed, then i do the evil one.

i'm only alive because its illegal to kill me

its most fun to play first as good then again as evil. the stories differ greatly.

i played prototype first, awesome game but nothing compared to infamous

reply

I'm currently being "good".

That's not to say the occasional civilian death won't happen.

reply

I'm being good, but like most of the others here, going back to play bad guy later.

It's a great game. I only get the exclusives on my PS3, the multi-plats I get on 360, but I feel sorry for the 360 crowd with this one, it's a fantastic game. The free-running/parkour element is monumental! I'm thinking about getting Mirrors Edge just for the free running. Worth it or not?

What is up homie?

Evil is even more fun, you don't have to worry about collateral damage during fights so you can go crazy and blow the entire place to hell, or just do it for fun. :D

And you get even more power when you choose to activate the Ray Sphere a second time. I didn't actually think that would work! I read the plot outline on Wikipedia after finishing the game on Good Karma and because of the way it was worded I thought both choices would end up with the Sphere killing John without increasing Cole's power, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Well hell then, I guess I need my pants.

yea i played evil first, and just now finished the good side and was kinda disappointed to see that my battery cores didn't max out automatically after i beat kessler lol which i guess was from activating the ray sphere again in the evil path.

i agree evil was more fun, but good was more of a challenge, having to make sure not to hit people when you're fighting and stuff. both are easily worth taking the time to play through.

I'm playing the hero for my first run. I just didn't have it in me to be the bad guy my first time through. This game is so much fun though.

I'll be the bad guy the second time around.

I played the game the first time good and then a second time evil.

I found playing the evil storyline actually very unsatisfying, so much so that, after I had finished, I immediately started another game and played good again.

One thing I did find out that third time through was that its so easy to boost yourself up to "Hero" that I realized sucking the life out of bad guys to recharge really wasn't a problem at all for my reputation. That made the third play through fast and easy compared to my first play through as good. (Suck them dry as often as you like and, between missions, just find the poor sick people on the streets and heal them until your at 100% Reputation).
