So need to make a movie of this
I know I know ... video game movies are more often then not a miss.. but this could be great.... cast Jason Statham as the lead...
Thoughts?

I think the story within the game was strong enough and delivered enough punch not to bother with a movie version.

Yeah but video games reach such a small portion of the populace specially this one cause it is only on PS3
shareDon't give Uwe Boll an ideas.
shareYikes... fair enough .. keep that man as far away from this game as possible
shareIt's not just Uwe Boll, but I'm truely not impress with any videogame turn movie. The Prince of Persia has top-notch talent, but looks weak. Besides, the only recent P.O.P. I've played was Warrior Within, so this clumpse immature version in the movie isn't for me. And why is the prince looking like the prince in the second(really third) installment of the game?
Post office sucks! 1 month to deliver a package that would've taken 47 minutes to deliver.
If they did make a movie, Danny McBride would be a no-brainer for Zeke.
You can't have Jason Statham as Cole, it would be too similar to his role in Crank: High Voltage.

from what i understand, they already want to make this into a movie, they are trying to find a script writer right now and i think they want to get this out by 2012 dont qoute me on release only thing for sure is that its planned already
shareYeah they are making a movie but what i really wonder is if it will be as good or bad... i hope bad though
shareconsidering how hollywood thinks, it would probably be a "good movie" with maybe lil hints of naughty.
though in this age of unrated cuts, wouldnt be surprised to see the eventual dvd/blu-ray release include a director's cut with the evil side.
People would probably say Jason Statham, but why not Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad?
He looks and sounds close enough to Cole that he wouldn't need to do much more than shave his head. He wouldn't even have to work out, at least, not really.
Please Turn Me Over ~ Mr. Blue Sky
-Could work with an R-rating, but PG-13 would do the trick as long as the movie was as dark, gritty, and violent as the game (which was nothing that a PG-13 movie couldn't handle).
-Maybe someone like Danny Boyle directing. Just look at Slumdog Millionaire, the movie has very grimy, urban feel with vivid cooler schemes and lighting which would capture the look and style of the game perfectly.
-Sam Worthington could probably be a solid choice for Cole.
-When Cole first starts using his powers to fight the Reapers, the action could have a chaotic shoot-out type quality, with civilians getting hit in the crossfire (by both Cole and the Reapers). As the movie progresses and Cole starts mastering his powers, the action could become more super heroish.
-Have Cole start to go down the evil path but redeem himself at the end, or maybe have him be an evil scumbag by the end, but set him up for redemption in the sequel(s).
-Even if Cole's story seems to wrap up at the end of Infamous 2, an Infamous movie trilogy could come up with an original story for the second movie and adapt Infamous 2's plot (the game) as the third movie.

Statham is older than Cole, get Sam Worthington instead, he's a fan-favorite.
