Where's all the footage?

So the Conjuring, supposedly based on a true story, features a lot of scenes where paranormal footage is being taken, most notably the footage of the little girl being dragged by her hair. Then there's the footage of Maurice's possession that they show during one of their lectures on exorcism. Where is all the actual footage of these scenes?

I don't think that's supposed to be real footage.

You are thinking in the mind set of 2016. Not 1970s. Not everyone had cameras then to record footage. There are interviews recorded by The Warren's, books written by one of the daughters and the case files of The Warren's.

Amyjo is correct. The Warren's used audio to record the events. Not video. This was the 70s.
