NOOOOOOOOOOO

Really?!

Unless this is some kind of metajoke where the joke is on the people that pay money to see this movie and we're supposed to laugh at them, this cannot be real.

Who's paying for this to get made? Because they clearly have too much money.

My god. The first one was the worst. This will be the worst. Just... yikes.

THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.

no way can you be Australian if you didnt like the wog boy its a classic along with The Castle

reply

i hope you're joking

Although I have no interest in it, it's by no means the worst thing around. I can think of way worse crap than this that got much more hype.

Never let your sense of morals prevent you from doing what is right.

I saw it. I liked it - didn't love it. I really enjoyed the first though.

I saw this movie today. It wasnt as funny as the first because we have seen the guys and their antics before but it was still a very entertaining movie.

reply

Hahaha I think you are right, but I do know people that disagree.

I find Wog Boy and The Castle hilarious, but sometimes I can see how they might appear as an "in joke" for all Melbournians.

You can't have grown up in Melbourne and not get it, it's too funny!!!

Very true Spunky Star, I just watched this and laughed all the way through it. I'm white Australian, Anglo-Saxon, British descent, etc, etc and I loved this. I've seen quite a lot of Nick Giannopoulos' work over the years (The Wog Boy, Wogs Out Of Work, Acropolis Now, etc) and he's always extracted a laugh (or three) out of me.

It's never about political correctness or anything, it always seems to be about the differences between Greek Australians and Anglo Australians and Nick G has been masterful at exposing, highlighting and sending up those differences.

I'm a Melbourne Boy and I agree that sometimes you need a Melbourne sense of humour to get a film like this. Or at least an idea of what makes Melbourne tick.

This may not be a film that translates too well outside of Australia.

When I said I wanted to be a comedian, they all laughed at me. Well, they're not laughing now!

I easily admit it wasn't the best movie, but to say it wasn't good is just being a complete dick.
