which psychopath did you feel sorry for?

for me it'd have to be a toss-up between the mailman and dwight boykin. Poor Dwight saw his entire squad get killed without being able to do anything, and the mailman just wanted to do his job

Ted. It wasn't Ted's fault he was slow and that his only friend was a tiger. And he even offered himself up to be eaten as he died.

And Roger. I felt sorry for Roger. How abusive was the other guy (what was his name? Reed?) that he ALWAYS wanted to stab him to death, even as they both lay dying?

I can't say I felt sorry for Dwight though. It was...kinda funny, watching him praise Eight Ball for covering the flank, even though he was very much dead.

And THAT is where babies come from.

that's cause 8ball was THAT good at covering the flank.

I didn't care for him. Such a quiet guy. Smelled kind of funny too.

I felt sorry for slappy...his girl died. And he was just trying to take out who he thought was the bad guy.

reply

Or so we assume. He currently believed himself to BE Slappy. That girl might have been new or something, but she plays someone who Slappy is constantly trying to ask out. That would be his "thing". His gimmick.

I decided that Slappy was actually a burns victim, as was his little lady - and instead of seeing the weird marks on his arms and legs as part of his costume I decided that these were all burns. He had no confidence because of this and took a job where people would love and hug him despite his real appearance because of the lovely costume. Then when he realised the girl was the same, he felt he had found his soulmate and was finally in love. He managed to ask her out, realising that she loved him back, but that was the day of the outbreak and so he went mad and took to the flame thrower because he wanted to inflict on others what he had suffered himself.

So I think Slappy.

There's a Slappy statue in the food court with similar looking arms/legs, suggesting that's Slappy's character and not the psycho's burns.

reply

I know that, but I like making little stories for them.

It also makes him less annoying.

None of them. They were all one dimensional, run of the mill bosses. Irritating at worst, dull at best.

You've got red on you..

reply

None. I hated those f#cking guys for ruining the game for me.
