The sequel should have more action scenes

I feel that they held back alot of the violence and action that is commonplace for other war-themed films. Even if the next movie is based on another book in the series, they can still add in more gunfights and ambush scenes, such as hit and run attacks on enemy forces.

I don't think there is going to be a sequel.

There was word that they where working on one. But that was yonks ago. I think the sequel is dead in the water.

Most of the actors\actress involved are on different series . Some in the states, Ireland, etc. They could recast but that would seem a bit off.

But , the sequel is pretty much DOA.

Which is why I refuse to watch movies that I know are supposed to be part of a series until all the movies are made.

I've been burned too many time by movie series where you get involved in the story, it ends unresolved and then they never make the sequels.

They are making a tv series version of it which is currently filming, season 1 will cover the first book from what I understand.
