Similar to Resurrection with Ellen Burstyn

the whole healing powers after a serious accident and physical repercussions after performing a healing, the healer essentially becoming a hermit after people tried to exploit the gift (like the Lia character in this movie)...I suspect the writer(s) directly borrowed heavily from that movie.
