I'm a fan of the original Nes and SNES games, and I'm wondering if I should get this one since thenew one is coming out. Should I get it?

You may have already came to your decision on buying this game,but hell I'll throw in my 2 cents.I myself am also a fan of the Nes/Snes era of Castlevania and would recommend that you at least rent it for a couple of days.Personally I loved it and the 3ds game that just came out,but it seems to be a mixed bag with purists of the series.If you are a fan of the God of War series or Dantes Inferno I reckon this would fit nicely into your collection.If you just want a burst of nastalgia and not really care for the new story get the 3DS game or better yet get Castlevania: Harmony of Despair of x-box live/playstation store.

Fantastic game! Been playing for over 20h already, lots of content, diversity. Don't think it has that much to do with the old games though.

This game somehow slipped under my radar when it was released. I just finished the game today and it's really underrated hidden gem. Music, story, voice acting, boss battles, length and level variation make LoS really stand out.
