Yes, disturbing. And so sad. I don't think Derek has any intention of working. It's terrible that Jordan has no place to go. Did they ever say why her parents kicked Derek out? Derek and Jordan seem to get along pretty well, but I don't think she will be able to count on him at all to take care of her and the baby.

I never heard but couldn't stop thinking about it! I know she wanted to be with her bf, but couch surfing with a baby is too much. The bf made me nervous!

Ahh yes, they got along great! It was super sweet when he told her that she's stuck at some random weirdo's house and he can leave anytime he wants. Or the fact that he would snap on her when she asked him to get a job since they had sweet *beep* all for their baby that was about to arrive. Or him forcing her to not comfort her newborn baby while it's crying, all whilst shaking the baby and acting like a complete psycho path!

I was totally shocked by this complete *beep* Who the *beep* keeps a hungry baby from it's mom??? God damn, this episode pissed me off. Break up with her already dude, so she can go home to her parents not to TEXAS where she knows NO ONE. GOOD LORD.

After that lady texted to tell them to keep the noise down and the bf said to his gf it's good to let babies cry. Ugh. He scared me, like he would shake the baby. If that's how you feel, you don't let your baby wail in someone else's house!

I just saw the scene. And I kind of think the bf wanted to use the cry it out method (for all that is holy I hope they is why he said it's good for her to cry). But he didn't understand you're not supposed to sleep train a newborn. I really hope that is the reason and the bf is not crazy.

Swarly...I get what you're saying & I kind of thought that too...but for the love of God...they had JUST been asked to keep it down! And my heart broke for Jordan in that scene!! I remember being a first time mom...& I was the same way right after I came he from the hospital! Def had to do with hormones all awry AND feeling totally overwhelmed. That poor thing had NO family to support her...I can't imagine! Again...only an iota of why this particular episode disturbed me so deeply!!!

I wonder if tracey just made up that she had to move in order to get them out faster. She saw after all the time they were there the bf wasn't even trying to look for a job and with her telling them to keep it down I feel like she just got frustrated and made that up to get them to leave

I was thinking that too, honestly. It seemed pretty convenient that she is getting evicted now that she's got a deadbeat living with her.

Another thing I wondered...
I read that they only stayed in Texas with his dad for about 2 months, and now they're back in Maryland living with Derek's grandparents. I'm wondering why moving in with them wasn't an option to start with. Going to Texas seems like it was just a waste of time and money in the end.

Who knows..maybe Derek didn't want to work or something happened where he screwed up and his father had enough and told them to leave too. I just get the impression he just wants a free ride and is willing to live here and there so he doesn't have to work. She would be better off going her own way, staying with her friend and getting on her feet by herself

^^^This^^^ He was a lazy ass who wanted to mooch off of everyone. This time it's his grandma he is mooching off of. I hope this girl wakes up and realizes that this will be her life (couch surfing) unless she breaks it off with him and moves home to get support and save her money so that she can be on her own someday.

I was hoping she'd place the baby up for adoption. It would have been the best thing for that little girl. They did NOT need a baby. They didn't have a pot to piss in or a window to threw it out. Very sad/disturbing episode.

If EVER there was a couple who should have been selfless & chose adoption it's these two!! Beyond!! I hope a child welfare agency has seen this or been alerted and are checking into this babies welfare! I don't mean to imply these two are purposefully harming the baby...but they are so completely inept & immature someone needs to be monitoring them !

I also hated the crying scene. What the heck does that little jobless punk know about raising babies. Poor Jordon was crying because she just wanted her baby. Why in the world she felt like she couldn't reach out and take her is beyond me. Maybe he is very controlling. The way he put Jordon down by saying he could leave anytime, she couldn't was heartbreaking to watch because she knew she was trapped and he had a way out. I felt so terrible for her. I wish she would have chose to stay with her parents and lose that loser. He wasn't concerned with getting a job or looking for a job and he would get ticked off if anyone even mentioned looking for a job. Sad.

I wanted to reach out and strangle him (after getting the baby safely to mom of course) during that scene. What a complete idiot. The baby needed food/comfort. Not some idiot who doesn't know the first thing about breastfeeding and babies. I'm still so angry days later after having watch this episode!!!!!!!!!!

That scene made me tear up... Watching her cry because she wanted to comfort her baby and he wouldn't let her! I know that feeling, I have 3 of my own. It made me so angry at him and sad for her. It's a newborn for God's sake... And she's breastfeeding! Most newborn babies want to nurse all day and night, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's a good thing! How dare he keep that baby from getting the comfort/food that he needed. Ugh

It really was a depressing and disturbing episode. Wow, were these people ever useless. I really can't imagine couch surfing while pregnant while my loser boyfriend played video games and did NOTHING all day! And to go on national TV and talk about it like it's no big deal...

It's interesting to read that many felt as I did! I kept wondering if I was being overly critical (cuz we have seen SO MANY other awful young parents on this show..along w/a few decent!) but I can tell by these comments I wasn't hyper-critical. Good to hear others views!

All we saw "on screen" was that her loser boyfriend got her pregnant, dropped out of college and wasn't working, so her parents kicked him out of their house. Then we legitimately seen him being a dead beat, not working, not doing anything productive whatsoever, and treating his child's mom like crap! What exactly did you see that was contrary to that?

Yeah...that was too ambiguous re: the parents stability. First impression was her immaturity & wanting to be with baby-daddy was her motivation to leave but then...as bad as things became she never considered her parents as an option ...musts been pretty bad there!?

Because they let her boyfriend move in to their house! After he got her pregnant and quit college, they only wanted him to keep a job. They kicked out loser boyfriend not stupid daughter.
