I just watched this episode on demand and so many things bothered me I mean besides her just being a teen who was having a baby- The mom , not only was she never there, she was charging her kids rent when they had no money and she wasn't even keeping the heat on! Not to mention the fact she asked a anorexic to go on a diet with her and use her "discipline" to help her lose weight..... Are you serious!? Just the whole episode she never even helped even when she said she would! I felt so bad for Kayla because when your pregnant you do need help from you mom ! Poor girl

I saw that episode again yesterday and kept shouting abuse at Kayla's so-called mum. Seriously, her daughter needed her, but she thought more of her boyfriend than spending time with her pregnant daughter. And then, as you said, she mentioned going on a diet to an anorexic in recovery. Poor girl, I hope she's doing ok
