Don't you think he is the one who suffered in the end...the whole story may be about the poor guy with cancer and the poor girl who loved him. But the doctor is the one who ends up been used by both.what about his feelings? he was made to love and marry a girl who never loved him.

i also didnt get the thing in the end when he sees both of them in the wedding dress shop. DID he know all along and still married her ?

Yes, it was sad to be him, but I think he knew what he was getting himself into.
