In North America they make these type of movies to entertain the dumb summer crowd, except those are much cruder.

Wasn't bad - a few laughs. I trust Finland turns out better mainstream films.

BTW, I think your spell-check isn't working. (-;

The North American films for the dumb summer crowds don't allow you a peek (just a tiny tiny peek) into another culture the way this movie does. So, there you have a huge advantage to this film.

Why is it important to cut a hole in the ice for people who already are swimming in a comfortable swimming pool and using a jacuzzi indoors? Does anyone really WANT to jump in that gelid water?

How weird is it (and natural for that part of the world) for it to be mostly night throughout the day?

If you run into some tourists who want to eat roadkill, you may have to strike a deal with them in pidgin English for them to understand you are willing to cook up the carcass for a fee. I'll have to remember this.

In a North American movie, there are boobs, boobs, and more boobs. Also, fist fights. But then, we've seen all the landscapes and as a movie-watching public, we've 'been to Vegas.' Also, New York City (gets a little tiring), even Pittsburg!

Some long drives on white snow through acres of trees - clears the mind sometimes.
