Could you explain? Sorry, I do not know much about science. And the physics of movement in space is perplexing and interesting to me.

They're talking about (I think) the scene where Matt detaches from that cable in order to let her live. Some say all she needed to do was pull him towards her at that moment.

Matt noticed that the cables snaring Ryan's leg were only loosely wrapped and were detaching slowly, due to the spin the two of them had at the end of those cables. That's why they were being stretched taut and loosening, and why he said that his "weight" would pull them both loose. They were essentially a ball at the end of a spun rope, and by letting go, Matt made that ball much lighter, lessening the pull on the cables, which then did not rip free.
