The overhyped rating might trick people into watching it?

I am ashamed at all yall imdb users for giving this movie such a high rating. I don't mind about free speech, but people go on this website to see if the movie is good. This rating of 7.8 may mislead them into actually watching this stupid thing and waste 1.5 hours off their life and X amount of dollars from renting or buying this movie. I don't know about yall and I care not if the movie sucks or not. But I think it is an issue of personal integrity when you all say this movie is good when really it sucks ass because that opinion factors into their decision on whether or not to watch this movie. Think about how many peoples' Friday nights you screwed up for overhyping this movie. When these hard-working Americans get off from work, they only have time to watch one good movie a night and it digusts me how you mislead them into watching this one! It doesn't take a genius to realize this movie sucks ass and I hope they catch it as soon as possible before they waste any more time!

I paid $4.99 for the Blu-ray double disc special. Man, was I ripped off!

Are you kidding me? At 1hr and 30min, it doesn't drag. It's beautifully shot, intense and emotional. And 7.8 is high but when you compare it to Meta and RT, it's not ridiculous.

Agreed.

I watched it on tv this afternoon for the first time, although I say "watched" loosely because the constant spinning made me queasy and I had to keep it in my peripheral vision most of the time. For that alone, I'm so glad I didn't pay anything to watch it, but I found it incredibly boring also. I gave it 2 stars because I didn't actively hate it, I just view it as a spectacular failure.

Space Adaptation Syndrome and bored. Quite the combination.
