Was it just me or, just before the end when they blew up the surviving monster, did the white hunter type, after throwing the lady to the ground, lying heroically on top of her to protect her from the blast, cop a crafty feel as he got up off her?

I actually just watched it about ten times. She was looking at his hand like you said, kind of "why is your hand there?" She was holding his hand and when she released it, that's when it looked like he went for the grab. Then she looks at him with a look that wasn't sure if it was accidental.
