I don't understand all the hate

I didn't go into this with the expectation of cinematic genius. Thought it would be an entertaining zombie film, and that's exactly what it was. After reading negative review after negative review I went for it anyway, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Good gore, acting, the story was fine...not the greatest but definitely not bad enough for the enormous hate for this movie.

Totally agreed. Zombie movies/ outbreak movies are normally a bit "B"-ish no matter what, and this was no exception. I thought the cinematography, lighting, and style were all fairly cool, and even the parkour zombie thing was entertaining.

Cole was a cool anti-hero type, especially when he wounds the chick at the end, and some great mini-roles from Sean Pertwee and Colin Salmon.

Honestly, the whole thing felt like it was done by someone who really loves Neil Marshall movies, and I dig that. I'd watch this again on a Sunday afternoon.

I'm with the OP..this movie managed to entertain me PERIOD! Real sh!!!y zombie movies are Day of the Dead 2: Contagium & Night of the Living Dead:Reanimated 3D...this doesn't compare..its gritty, ballsy, gorey & fast paced! I recommend.

6/10
