Why doesn't the dvd have the 9th episode?
shareWhat 9th episode? There are only 8 you know.... Plus 3 extras on the DVD.
shareIf you look on imdb episodes list there is a 9th episode with no description.
If you look down this board a little bit you will see another thread talking about the 9th episode, with a spoiler reply (if it's true).

Thanks
That's weird. But from the description of the (9) episodes all was covered in the 8 episodes on the DVD. #8 Work of Angels was not named that on the DVD. The other names/titles are correct. ??????
shareWith further research the answer is..... The real name of the 8th episode was "New Beginnings - The Work of Angels". A dual title. Some yahoo somewhere thought it was 2 episodes. But is is only one.
shareStill, strange that more than one TV network shows it as a 9 part series, I'd like to know the run times of those episodes. Maybe they shortened the episodes to get more adverts in and show each one in an hour slot.
shareYes, some episodes on the DVD were short (41 minutes) while some were 55 + minutes. So it was probably as to how many commercials they put in.
share"New Beginnings" is the title of ep 7, "The Work of Angels" is the title of ep 8. IIRC, when it originally aired on Starz the last 2 eps aired together in a 2 hour block, so the title was together.
When it aired last month on the Reelz cable channel they broke it up into 9 parts and named the 9th ep "Illumination". I forgot it was on and missed the first couple, but when I caught up mid way they were cut weird, starting and ending in what was originally the middle of eps.
In the 2011 broadcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the series was re-cut into nine episodes. You get to see everything in the 8-episode DVD.
