Waste of a good gimmick

I just watched this show on Netflix and I did find it pretty funny, despite the massive, constant cliches. However, one major disappointment I had was how little they used RJ's "asset" as a plot device. I mean so many of the situations had nothing to do with it, and yet it seemed to be a major theme throughout the show. I feel like it should have been a bigger part* of the story lines throughout the show. There is so much potential for that and they kind of wasted it by just making some passing comments/references to it and then falling back on other jokes.
