Strict Parents=Fascist Dictatorship
I just think that living with some of these strict parents must be alot like being ruled by a fascist dictatorship.

The parents from the Barbados were insane. Good parenting doesn't mean treating your children like prisoners.
And why do all these parents have a rule against swearing? Kids will swear, it's going to happen. It's part of the language. My parents swore all the time and I eventually got in trouble at school for swearing when I was 8 or 9. I'm not sure why this is a problem unless I was attacking someone verbally (which I wasn't).
What's even crazier is these farm hick families telling the kids they can't take the lord's name in vain. It's their lord, so they can o bey those rules, that doesn't mean everyone else has to.
I was just watching an episode and the parents said "The worst thing a child could do is lie" Really? Shooting a cop in the head isn't worse? Becoming an arsonist? These people are hicks.
What's funny is that the kids often dig in their heels as much as the authoritarian parents. I commend the kids for standing up to these people.
They're like Francis in Malcolm in the Middle standing up to ugly, selfish bullies.
