How often to people get random friend requests from people they play with?

I seem to get 1 every 4-5 days, I've only added three, one was a good quickscoper and the other two were bad/new so I figured I try help them improve.

Is sticking someone with a grenade after sneaking up on them the best fun you can have in MW2?
I did it to several guys yesterday, one in particular had just killed two of my team on Rundown(I couldn't stop him)and he went to lie down in grass to call in Harriers. So I followed him and stood behind him looked at him for a second and throw the semtex on his back.

He sent me a message *beep* you"
I just replied "?"

Also came across 2 good players yesterday in opposing teams. I didn't get as big a kd as them but I did have the pleasure of inflicting the majority of their deaths on them.

The only thing I enjoyed doing on MW2 in the end was probably Javelin kills.

Sums me up.

I get random adds usually at least once per gaming session, sometimes more depending if I do well or exceptionally well. Id say normal is 20-30 kills and 5-8 deaths. A good game would be 35+ kills and exceptional would be 40+

This has been pretty consistent over MW, MW2 and WAW.

Back in the day of playing Gears of War I would get friend requests all the time. When I had to practise and wasnt playing with friends Id go in to rooms with strangers and Id say 80% of them would send me friend requests. I guess this was mainly because I used my mic a lot more then, but also because of why I played the game.

I used to get friend requests from rival clans and I used to get offers (daft things like MS points) to join their clan, but it wasnt worth my while.

I havent really gamed much on my x360 for 6 months or so but I still do use it for watching films and what not and I still get random adds from people who play Gears of War from friends I played with back in the day.

A lot of the friend requests I put down to people just wanting to see my stats or wanting to play 1 v 1. A lot of people seem to have something to prove. I accept most invites on the PS3 as my list is emptyish but I delete most and rarely join game invites.

I love the sticky technique to have a laugh at other peoples expense.

I did the whole claymore thing if I snuck up behind someone though.

I would plant the claymoe behind them then do some push ups so theyd see me on cam doing them then I would stand well back and shoot them once then watch them react. Usually by turning around it would trigger the claymore but sometimes they would panic run in to it too lol!

Of course I have been caught doing it a lot too, knifed in the face and looked foolish when I watched the killcam but still, its funny when watching them on cam.

I also think the playing dead technique is hilarious to do too. I dont see how people think Im dead though, I have never fallen for it as the guy stands out as he lies down all wrong for a dead person. But that makes me laugh when you get someone with it. Especially when you do it to a friend!!

Edit: I think perhaps one of the reason why I get friend requests quite often on MW and WAW is because theres a lot of new people playing the game or they have started again and are low ranked. They must want a decent player to not effect their stats or to help them out or something.

Sticking with a Semtex is good but taking careful aim with a throwing knife is also a riot!

I did that the other day, I was on sub base and got surrounded by about 3 guys and knew I was outgunned I threw my semtax on the ground instead of shooting and took two of them with me.

Also do people watch killcams much, I seem to get "most killcams watched" a lot when I play mostly because I am surprised that some mere mortal has killed me.

the most fun you can have with mw2 is burning it

I have to be terrible at everything, or else I just wouldn't be me.

I think the most fun in MW2 is the riot shield. I've had a lot of people cuss the crap out of me once I own them with it. lol.

It's so funny bashing someone, because they come running back as fast as they can for revenge, and I'll just drop a stun grenade in front of me, and walk over to them and bash them. Then they'll come again with tubes, and I'll throw on the blast shield and do the same thing. Then they'll come with their own riot shield, and I'll pull out my secondary - RPG lol!

Sometimes after dying a few times, they will just run away when they see me, but I use MLC with the riot shield, and chase them down anyway.

I've had lot of players tell me over the mic - "You wouldn't be s#$@ without your riot shield!" I just laugh because that's the hardest class to dominate with I think.

Definetly.

I was playing TDM on derail earlier and my pathetic excuse of a team wouldn't take down a harrier that was slaughtering them so I switched to the default rocket class with the light machine gun.
We were down by about 2000 points and I was having a bad game 8-13 or so. Anyway I began to dominate with the light machine gun, those things are beasts, I forgot what kind of damage they can do. We still lost but I pushed us on big time and I finished 18-15

I come across very few people with shields that are decent, they cause a bit of nuisance but for the most part don't play a big part in the game.

And a lot of people complain about bullets going through the shields and being stabbed too easy but to be honest every class has its faults. I constantly get hit markers with my sniper when I know it was good. I no scoped a guy today from 4 feet away to just below the neck with stopping power and got a hitmarker. He has stabbed me before I got a second shot off. Nonsense.

We were on sub base and some guy on the enemy team kept running in and out of the L/zigzag killing team mates and he got me. I respawn around the same area as i died. A second later theres an enemy ac-130 in the air, what do you know it's the guy who just killed me so i knew he couldn't be far. Searched the zigzag and he was hiding behind the fenced electrical system, laying on the floor. So i teabagged him and then shot him. Lol.

Did the same to someone on Vacant.

That's the most fun i've had while playing.
