Strange Hybrid Weapon I Stumbled upon on Wolverines

I have seen some pretty weird stuff after playing this game for years, but this one REALLY had me scratching my head. So there I was on the roof of Nate's, battling back the oncoming wave of Russians with my trusty grenade launcher and my rpd machine gun...

...then a grenade landed next to me.

I quickly scooped it up and tried to throw it over the side of the building, and then BOOM! Everything went red and fuzzy; and I thought I was dead, but, much to my surprise, when the smoke cleared, I was holding this weird new weapon I had never seen before !

At first I thought it was an M240 Heartbeat machine gun (because it looked so similar) but IIRC it had a sort of yellowish- camouflage color and it had a grenade laucher!

THE perfect weapon for that situation, but where did it come from? Has anything like this happened to anyone else?
