Seems to be a rip off from the film Jewslim

There was a movie done in 2008 titled Jewslim. I wonder if they stole the concept from that film or borrowed an idea from it.

Sorry, I couldn't find one page dedicated to this film you named. This movie is probably far from it. Watch the trailer. It's actually a good story.

I just read the summary plot for Jewslim.
I can tell it is faaar awaaay from Mooz-lum.
Jewslim seems more like Romeo and Juliet

I agree with h_chucky83. Isn't it a shame that whenever there's a movie about a different culture, it's always about or similar to another film with the same culture. I didn't see Jewslim but Mooz-lum is about coming of age. The principal characters are not grown adults. That inherently makes this a different story.

I hunger for stories from cultures different than my own. That's how I learn. I hunger for dialogue and have a very clear understanding that there are 6 billion people on the planet and each one has their own unique story.
