Why is Brucie completely different?

Because you don't see him much around Niko or his friends, instead we get to see him around his disapproving older brother and now it's obvious why he overcompensates so much. If Luiz could chill with him like a friend I'm sure he'd be the same as with the others, but around his brother we get to see his self-loathing side.
