One of the weirdest films out there- I loved it!

First of all what a performance from McAvoy! He was brilliantly giving the audience a tour inside the mind of a sick self-destructing person. The directing and writing was also very original. They also managed to stick a nice little twist in this dark journey. I give it 8/10 stars.

He certainly deserved an Oscar nom for the role. Or at least more accolades and other noms.

Even though his performance was fun as hell to watch, FILTH's too raw,nasty and dark of a film ever to have gotten anything close to an Oscar nom--plus there's not what's you'd call an happy ending.

phenomenal, wasn't it? I love things that challenge me, this really did, but it was astonishing, the script dripped drama for every scene, it just got better and better, and that ending was superb, how easy, it could have been to make him come off that chair, but no! "life is cruel, life is cruel"

Terrific film. I consider it right up there with "Trainspotting."
