Star Trek Meets Doctor Who!

The best Trek captain, and the best Doctor... Captain Picard (Stewart) and The 10th Doctor (David Tennant), on screen, side-by-side, together at last!

Okay, so they're not really playing those characters, but sci-fi fans can dream, can't we?

Besides, even though their lines are Shakespearian, their mannerisms and personality really makes you think of their more famous roles. Stewart is dominating, serious and authoritative, while Tennant is a quirky and maniacally intense fellow with a charming British accent.

Sadly, this is probably the closest we'll get to an onscreen Star Trek/Doctor Who crossover.

Don't forget Star Wars! Polonius was played by Oliver Ford Davies, who was Sio Bibble in the prequels. :-)

But I agree - I loved seeing my favorite sci-fi actors on screen together! My favorite scene with them was probably when the Ghost tells Hamlet everything. Their reactions and interactions... the Ghost pulling Hamlet roughly up by his coat, only to embrace him a moment later, and especially when Hamlet falls to his knees, calling the Ghost, "Father!" It was AMAZING!!!

Was today really necessary?
