My thoughts on the movie... *Spoilers*

***Spoilers!****

I really enjoyed this little flick. it gave you bits and pieces of background on Lila and David. (at first I thought they were Mother and Son. but I wasn't far off.) the cinematography was gorgeous. the score by Nathan Barr was exqusite as usual.

Tricia Helfer really bites into her juicy role. chewing on the scenery and dialogue. Brian is great. he's like an overgrown child with an understated killing streak. people complained about the lack of background on the killers. but you do get just enough information. it's so much scarier when there isn't alot of information.

As for the victims not having alot of background. hey. that's how it is in real life. serial killers don't ask their victims about their life story. this movie was a demented slice of life. that slightly delved into people's obsession with the surface of things. it gave new meaning to keeping up with the Joneses.

The sexual content never felt gratuitous at all. it was implied but never exploited. the violence is rather nasty and realisitic but never lingers. the movie itself takes it's sweet time to get going. my only real complaint is the ending. it builds itself up and leaves too many loose ends as it fizzles out.

~I love the rhythm it is my methoood!~
