Nobody else here wondered why......

All these people are being killed for weeks and apparently almost no one notices. I guess none of them had relatives or employers who wondered where the f--k they'd gone to. One of the biggest plot holes I have ever seen in a movie. Ridiculous.

I think it was supposed to be ironic. Like how naive many people can be.

Normally, I am an easy going guy and I welcome errors. I also enjoy using my imagination to fill in the parts left unsaid in films. But this movie has more plot holes than a tree has leaves.

Smoke me a kipper. I’ll be back for breakfast

I wondered that too, but didn't the movie took place over the course of just four days or so? I think it was too early for unconnected friends and family to connect the disappearances back to this house. Lilia did make it clear to David that there time there was limited and they'd have to move on very soon.

reply

It wasn't weeks, it was a few days.

It's been awhile so I can't recall the exact time frame, (days vs. weeks) but you'd expect that the maids obviously keep a schedule so it wouldn't be hard to find out what the last house they cleaned was. Nobody would kill people like that and keep staying there, it's just ridiculous.
