what if it was any of his OTHER kids needing bone marrow?

OK, I'll agree I was somewhat bored due to this being VERY "lifetime" quality (of which I don't watch melodramatic LIFETIME movies much; well... if I can help it. OK, you got me...it's usually if sick in bed with no other worthy choices & headache from reading). Add in the heavy music, formulaic & manipulating script. We've seen this done a million times (often FAR better).
One thing I DID think was somewhat an interesting musing (shows how bored I was, my mind wandering!) would be to ask the MOM (and I guess Dad too) if the premise were switched (and she needed permission for HER son to help any of his illegitimate kids) would she be SO gung-ho & equally charitable & loving? I'd hope so and yes, for intended purposes here, it's NOT part of the story but what IF it had been? AT any rate, I just wanted ONE of the other Moms (like the MOM of the daughter doing this) to ask the same question in return (frankly just for effect, to see what they would reply). Yes, I GET they were all cheaters but let's say he fathered a kid with someone he LIED to (pretending he was single. He was NOT above it. Total cad). Also, the Dad didn't seem too upset about protecting the life of his other kid (and NO, I'm not entering into abortion debate just saying he plainly did NOT care. No HUGE effort to show his support... not in the end, not REALLY about her pregnancy if NOT relating to Jack).
Oh well, suppose I was just bored wondering if "tiger-mom" exhausting all options (and yep, I'd do the same) would be as kind if her CHEATING husband's kid (which is naturally NO fault of the child) were in need. I dunno.....
