So my godson loves this show due to the dinosaurs, but let me get this show straight. He actually see's these dinosaurs and everybody else doesn't? So what the hell is the family thinking when he's basically seen talking to an invisible dinosaur? Like has it even been mentioned this kid is practically a severe schizophrenic?

I was watching another show on the staion...dinasour train..yeah I know I'm weird..and they were talking about discussing nature....
it made me think back to a kid, and how we went into the woods, and took apart rotten logs...we wanted to find salamanders, and do a race with them....that we thought was great, until we kind of grew out of it.......and lol....discovered boys, and stuff like that...
but yeah......what did we do before....we used our imagination.....kept tadpoles in an old bathtub, whatever.....do kids still even do stuff like that today..
when my neice was 12, I went to her place.....not sure if I mentioned this before....but, I said to her, it's so nice outside, why don't you go out, don't stay on that computer....she didnt' want to...
I went outside, and said to her father, when we were her age, we wouldn't have dreampt about staying in the house on a day like this....
yes, we would have been outside exploring nature, and whatever, going for a walk, whatever....not staying in the house on a computer...
so......this perhaps is a throwback to go outside, kids have fun, use your imagination and all that...even though you're having fun, you're learning too.......and oh gee, I don't know, getting fresh air......

Seriously, do you morons not understand what IMAGINATION means, lol? It means you use your IMAGINATION to make up stories and, well, you know, play. It's what children do. Seriously, why do morons like you have to turn everything into a mental $h!tstorm, lol? Man, some people apparently never had fun when they were young.

I've seen the show, as my nephew is obsessed with it. While I don't agree that it's a bad kids show(actually it's one of the better ones that Nick Jr. shows, and actually treats kids with intelligence) I also have to say that Dan is clearly not using imagination. It goes way beyond that. Though that also does not mean he's crazy. The show states one or two times that Dan simply has the ability to see Dinosaurs. I guess their spirits still roam the Earth, and Dan has a special gift. It's really no sillier than shows where the main character talks to animals.
