That's Sir Scott

to you

Nah, not to me.

But there once was a troll on this board that titled himself SirRidleyScott and made himself a home under our bridge. He posted many, many times just to rile everyone up. Fighting him was fun. Good times, Good times in those days.

They'll be back soon enough Kaskait!

If memory serves it was around November 2011 that these boards started heating up as news and information started to leak about the movie. March has the big trailer reveal and then we had all those extra videos about the TED talk and David's creation and Shaw's persistence towards Weyland Industries to give her an interview about her theories.

I'm more interested to see how the two apparent camps set themselves up for discussion.

Will the 'haters' stay here and let the 'lovers' bend the will of the newcomers or shall they try invading the Covenant boards to try and pillage minds they think we are corrupting?

And let's not forget all the fan theories which will start to appear! 

Good times ahead, that's for sure! 

Hi Kaskait!

Nice to see you again.

I'm currently watching, because I had never seen it originally, Twin Peaks. I can see the obviously occult stuff in there and it seems to be about the shining pure knight Dale Cooper and his quest (a Christian Rosenkreutz if you will), but I'm damned if I can figure out a coherent explanation of it.

Have you seen it and, if so, what's your take on it?

(Or anyone else's take on it if you have one)

Hi Taudarian!

I haven't seen you around since The Force Awakens brouhaha. LOL

It has been years since I've watched Twin Peaks. I did watch the first run episodes although I stopped before it went belly up in the second season. I'll have to take a look into it again.

Right now I'm reading a book by a man called Franz Bardon who wrote "Initiation into Hermetics". A book about how to become a spiritual alchemist. There are very interesting tidbits on how alchemy divides the body into the 4 elements etc. Reportedly it takes years to reach the last lesson. Some of the ideas are extremely odd. But others I see are useful, such as increasing concentration and battling distractions, becoming more aware of the body and how it works, etc.

Some of the concepts seemed familiar to me. Then it hit me, the lessons were included in Luc Besson's Lucy. Many think it is about Luciferianism. And I thought that theory was plausible. But now that I've read some of Bardon, I see it is an alchemical film about a woman uniting the elements inside herself and becoming the stone. It's about the birth of a Magus not a devil worshipper.
