underrated - and probably underseen

This is a unique and deeply affecting film featuring an outstanding performance by young Robbie Kay. I can't understand why it hasn't attracted more comments. My guess is that it wasn't shown at many theaters. I wish someone would pick it either for theatrical re-release or to run on a cable channel such as HBO whose viewers might give it the reception it deserves.

I agree. This was a little gem of a movie. Some people might be turned off by the subject matter of a boy with leukemia, but the movie wasn't maudlin or played to jerk tears from the audience. It was very well written, well acted, and left you feeling good after seeing it, not sad.

It's also interesting that the filmmakers collaborated with Johns Hopkins Hospital in making the film, and part of the proceeds went to cancer research.

People reading these reviews should seek out the movie. You won't be disappointed.
