So wait...

It's a naked calendar, but none of the men are naked? Stupid.

reply

Just because it was pitched as a naked calendar doesn't mean things changed once the pictures were taken.

A lot goes into planning things like this. Often times things change from the original pitch to the final version. You heard them talk about photoshoping, and EJ said not to, even going to far as to say they normally do that, but she wanted to keep it natural.

So it's not "stupid" that they went from a naked calendar to a partially clothed one.

reply

Well, yes it is stupid. It doesn't make any sense that their efforts would garner media attention when literally thousands of organizations do partially clothed calendars every year. That was the whole "point" to this movie - that it was risky to make a naked calendar, and that the risky move with the big payoff got her noticed again by the larger pr companies. This whole movie was stupid and nonsensical.

oh get over yourself! It's a friggin movie! A movie about a woman with well placed, highly sought after contacts. Someone how could sell the president an igloo if she wanted to. Of course she's going to be able to pull off the media buzz that the calendar garnered for a partially clothed one.

and no, it's not stupid.

but if you insist it's so stupid then why are you here?!? Why not shut up and leave those of us that liked the movie alone? I'm so sick and tired of seeing bored trolls like you on here.

reply

Not meaning to troll, but if you liked this movie, you yourself are stupid.

reply

you are a troll!

This movie is for people who do not want to think for even a moment. This movie is for simple people. This movie is bland. This movie is ridiculous. This movie is for morons.

There ya go, batwoman.

reply

This movie's purpose is simply to entertain.
Nothing more.

The movie was based upon the novel "Decent Exposure" by Phillipa Ashley.

While I have never read the book, or anything about it, I think it's a safe bet that in the book, the men did the full monty, but television being what it is -- hidebound, not hide unbound -- they removed the nudity by adding clothing to the calendar models.

Remember the old adage: "Relax, it's only skin!" Now, "Relax it's only cloth!"
