Anyone else want to hear Pitchs' backstory? Just me?

How did he become how he is?
I'd also be interested to see a prequel of sorts where he was set up to become the next guardian in the past, but he just didn't "get it". I mean in my experiences, getting scared or having a fear is sometimes good, gives you something to overcome.
I can picture him as a little boy, getting scared, running to hide underneath his bed (hence the entrance to his lair), maybe it was family problems, and to help himself he would believe in the good, have some good dreams, maybe that would also explain his major bitterness with Sandy?
Dunno, just spitballing here. and if it sounds familiar, I don't believe I heard these thoughts from anyone elses' mouth or read an article or anything, and will just put it off the "steam engine effect". If you haven't heard of that theory, PLEASE read it, very cool and interesting, and makes sense to me!
If someone has developed this into an actual story, PLEASE inform me so I can read it too!
And if not, I'd love to get into movies to help with a script!
I'd appreciate no mean trolls here too, as Chris Hardwick said before, and I constantly quote it myself now, "I miss when trolls hid under bridges and gave you fun riddles!"

The book series explains all of the origins of the characters.

In fact, the movie takes place 300 years after the book series does.

I haven't yet read them but am considering it if our library has them. lol

I would definitely recommend them if you're interested. There is a lot of backstory in them and they are very well written.
Reading them in order is the best and if your library has them, there are two illustration books on Manny (Man in the Moon) and Sandy. Nice stories and very rich illustrations.
