Does anyone else have this happen to you?

I was talking with my sister in law and begin talking about "Guardians Of The Galaxy" and she confuse it with Rise Of The Guardians I had to explain the different between the two.

Now this isn't the first time people confuse one film for another but it just amazed me that some would confuse Rise of the Guardians with Guardians of the Galaxy.

It's almost simular titles
a theater in the U.S even confused the two films instead of playing guardians of the galaxy they played rise of the of the Guardians.

You have a responsibility…to mine the diamonds we make into fairy dust."

I sure had hate to be the manager that day when it comes to people who were hoping to see Guardians of The Galaxy only to Get Rise Of the Guardians. Not saying Rise of the guardians is a bad movie far from it I even gave it a review on here and I plan to review Guardians of the galaxy in the foreseeable future and I got to see Guardians of the galaxy in theaters making it one of my favorite films I saw in theaters. It just interest me that people can confused one film for the other, like Star Wars get confused with Star Trek.

This is on FXX as I write this, and our 4-year-old asked what it was. My wife said, "'Guardians of the Galaxy'...uh..." and then looked at me; I had to tell her (and our son) the correct title. So it's happened to other people. (In her defense, my wife has had kind of a long day and is tired so she probably just couldn't think of the right title at the moment...)

Happened to me a few months ago actually. A friend and I were talking about movies and I asked him if he had seen "Rise of the Guardians."
When he said no I started giving a quick overview and when I kept mentioning Jack Frost, he stopped me and asked, "Was the the name of the owl in that movie?"
I managed to hold it together for about five seconds before bursting out into laughter. He gave me a funny look and that's when I explained to him the difference between "Rise" and "Galor" (sp?). Probably doesn't help we were talking about "Guardians of the Galaxy" before that, but still it was a very hilarious conversation.
