Jack Frost must not have been there at the time. He can't be everywhere at once you know.
Or perhaps you just aren't someone who laughs at such things. Not everyone reacts to things the same way.
In movies, people get hit in the face with snowballs and they "POOF!" like little cotton balls. Really, its like getting hit with a baseball. It'll break your glasses, give you a bloody nose, and leave a bunch of scratches on your face. No poof factor. Snowball hits you in the face, you hit the ground.
shareI don't know how big the snowballs the kids in your area create, but generally, they're not as devastating as you claim when I still had snowball fights. Granted, it was fresh snow and not hardened by days of sitting outside.
