To be fair, I had to watch this movie over two breaks and a lunch at work....but didn't they give the impression the police chief was in on it? Maybe I read too much into his conversation with Zander or was trying to hide my screen from my boss...
shareNo you got it right. The police were in with Zander. The cops were pulled off the initial 911 call to the hospital after the security guards found the shot up SUV. Then they went looking for Marcus in the Redvale building, I imagine shoot first as questions later.
shareI think there was only the single cop (or lead detective or whatever) in on it. The others were simply following the orders he relayed to his subordinates.
I did wonder what he was going to do when he had the doctor sent to his office. Was he going to tell her some story about how Marcus was a corrupt CIA agent or something, to take the heat off of himself?
