Now that we know a little bit more about Rosario's childhood we can see why she treats her daughter the way she does. Her own father didn't care much for her because she was a girl. She now does to her daughter what her own father did to her. Assuming that Lucrecia and Julian marry and Rosario isn't killed off, will she continue this behavior with her grandchildren?

The series won't go that far, but if it did I doubt that Lucrezia or Julian would permit Rosario any unsupervised contact with their children. Having once been a manager/moderator at a forum for people with toxic family issues, I can tell you that anyone who knows this territory would certainly give Lucrezia that advice.
