What on earth is an 'unknown' season?

If you look at the episode guide links on the main page you'll see a link for Season 1 and next to it a link for Unknown. Season 1 has 18 episodes, the Unknown season has 2 episodes. But what do they mean by 'unknown'? It looks to me like Season 2 which was apparently cancelled after 2 episodes.

Anybody know why they call it Unknown?
