Field’s first movie in 16 years

Blanchett is incredible, looking forward to this.

It is!

Field seems completely un-cinematic in his filmmaking. "Tár" is about classical music. Tár likely has classical music running through her head almost continually, yet there is no attempt for us to hear that. There really should be a sound design where we hear classical music throughout the film as background. But, I think Field is focused on the acting, since he is an actor himself.

The flat, digital cinematography doesn't help.

Honestly, it's not as good as his first two... it's even better!
