The Chicken and Waffle Cake colors were nauseating

Last night I saw this episode where they made a chicken and waffle cake--a breaded, fried chicken breast laying on top of a syrup slaked square waffle.

I don't know how no one said how f_cking terrible it looked. The shapes of the food elements were correct, but it's color was offensive. The waffle was a yellow chartreuse, the chicken was flaming cheeto red and the syrup was a dark, opaque brown that looked like barbaque sauce.

It was disgusting. How the hell did no one notice how gross it looked? If that were my cake, I would not accept it and ask them for a refund. If they were that off, they don't deserve a chance to make it again and I would never trust their ability to make anything else.

All of their cakes look cartoony and off from reality, but this was just poorly done. I feel like they get away with a lot of sub-par stuff because of their reputation. No one wants to be the j_ackass who's too good for the Cake Boss.
