Horrible show to join the long line of horrible shows and movies produced by the Australian film/t.v industry. Seriously, what is 'Rescue Special Ops'? It's not part of the Police, Fire Brigade? What exactly is it? This show has absolutely no grounding in reality. Crap acting. Crap Show.

Heidi is part of the rescue team and she's a paramedic. So I guess they're with teh Ambulance Service.

Rescue special is a task force group created by the government.
Their missions involve the most dangerous of rescue missions, especially large crowd disasters, where many lives are at stake.
This show started off kind of listless. The rescuers didn't seem to have all the proper training to deal with these kind of situations. From emergency CPR, to removing people properly from assorted accidents, to crowd control in major disasters. Steadily though they have cleaned that aspect of the show up considerably.
This show has a very fine cast. The stories are tight and believable. The action/rescue pieces are very well done. Movie quality even. The acting is top-notch, including several actors that were in "Underbelly."
I went from rating this a shaky 5 to a solid 8 from the pilot to now. [End of season-2].

"The stories are tight and believable"???

Most of the time they are either rescuing their colleagues or the family members of colleagues. And when they are not doing that, they are playing cops. The show has steadily deteriorated and the acting has become dismal.

Its crap.

I disagree with most of the people on this thread, true, it didn't start off amazingly but it has improved and the acting is good, I'll miss the show when it finishes.
