I had no idea Jayla is a transsexual. She looks so female. I wondered why she would only be working part time when she could go anywhere and get a job, but then when she said legally she was still a male named Kenny. That would explain it because a lot of people finding that out would likely go, "Oh, sorry. Not hiring anyone today."

One thing I wondered about was if she worked part time and the $500 for a name change was too much money, then how was she paying rent and living expenses? It's quite possible she was living with someone else but didn't mention it. It looks like it would be hard to get by on a part time job.

Do I drink because my dreams don't come true, or don't my dreams come true because I drink?

Exactly. I remember the female-to-male who was told to dress like a female for work because that happened in my hometown. He didn't actually get fired but was told he would have to show up like the gender on his driver's license which was female. He refused and quit.

It's much harder for a female-to-male in that respect because I've known male-to-females who took female hormones for years and went through electrolysis and they were still living and working in the male role with people being none the wiser. It would be next to impossible for a FtM to take male hormones and still appear as a female to stay in the female role.

I do not see how that is wrong though. I mean if you are a certain gender on your DL, you kind of have to abide by that until you can change your physical attributes to the other gender. I would not exactly call that discrimination.

I do wonder if he was able to win this case. It seems unlikely. I also wonder if he didn't do it hoping they would settle out of court and he would get a payday.

I knew a guy who used to do that. He sued his school, and all sorts of places claiming they discriminated against him because he is gay. Usually they would settle, pay him off, and wash their hands of it. When he would go to court he usually lost, so he would then appeal and win on appeal. I once mentioned to him I'd be afraid of going to court, then losing. He said, "Take to appeal, girl!"

If we are speaking purely on IF he can use it as a victim, then I would say he would have a good chance. If you were just presenting this, as in, it was bad that he could not get a job because he did not follow his DL, the previous post was my answer.

She really was beautiful!! I had no idea she was "kenny" until much later on
I'm depressed now..I was born a woman & reasonably good looking, but damn! jayla made it look effortless!
