Why so cheap Subway?

Poor Efrain didn't get anything for himself, 5k for charity and 1k for his mom.

Not only that, but now footlongs are $6 now!

I'm not sure why he didn't get schooling money since the young girl did (and I thought she was honestly quite rude when she was training him).

Yeah I just saw this episode. I didn't get that, the girl was rude and was a 19 year old control freak. She was so strict and undermining. I'd think she's bad for the company making people think they run with an iron fist. But she got treated better than anyone.
Better than a lady who worked with them for 19 years and has her kids work in subway. A strict *beep* little girl got treated when a dedicated employee who was amazing at her job got more work and shoes

I just watched this episode and I had the same question. Efrain was polite, patient, hardworking with a real desire to do good in the world and that's all he got? I realize it's better than nothing but I was appalled that Jessi got her entire college paid for and got to go on vacation after how rude she was. I would be concerned if I had a manager like that running one of my stores and talking to staff the way that she spoke to him. It's not like she had a huge sob story, either.

I remember on the Moes episode of UB, one of the restaurants had a really rude manager too who spoke down to other staff members, including the undercover boss and at the end, he was given proper training and nothing else so he could learn how to be a better leader. That should've happened with Jessi.

I think Jessi was a hardworker but just inexperienced which is why she came across the way she did. I think the CEO was crushing on her which is why she got as much as she did.
