Entertaining, but does it help?

The show's really entertaining, but I can't help but wonder if they're actually settling arguments. The couples, to my knowledge, haven't made any promises to abide by what the panel decides. I can totally see a woman saying "I don't care what Greg Giraldo says, you still have to get rid of that Betty Boop monstrosity." It's possible the vacations the couples are awarded help them tempoaraily get away from their arguments, but those are more like bribes than prizes.

I guess we're not meant to take it seriously, it's just light-hearted entertainment with a trio of funny people veiwing married couples arguing over trivial matters and making a decision, whether effective or not. So that's what I'll do, enjoy this show for what it is, even if it's not what it claims to be.

Being inconsistent is better than being consistently bad.
