This season's Halloween episode!

I was on the Epiguides site, and they have the first three episodes of this season's The Middle listed. Episode #3, scheduled for October 25th, is their annual Halloween episode...but correct me if I'm wrong, was there a Halloween episode the first season? Last year, Epiguides has the show marked as Halloween: vi, which is 6. This year, it's listed as viii, which is 8. Huh?
