I recently have gotten hooked on this show. I realize it's a subjective topic, however what is the funniest season in your opinion? Thank you

Season #1

It's a complete oddity for the first season of any long-running television series to be it's best, but this does sometimes happen.

Although, quite rare..."The Middle" has achieved this feat.

My opinion only anyway.

In order from best to worst:

1. Season #1
2. Season #2
3. Season #3
4. Season #4
5. Season #5
6. Season #7
7. Season #6

**I could easily swap #4 for #3 as the better of the two**

Season 2 or 1 is best for me. I came to the party a little late, maybe around season 4 or 5. But I really like the 1st 3 seasons, 2 most likely being my favorite.

Like menotherapy, the 1st 2 seasons were strong, which is odd usually seasons 3-4 are generally the strongest in most shows. This show was solid to start and has a bit of decline ever since.

I dislike the season that began with Axl going off to college. When he returned home in the VERY SAME EPISODE, The Middle jumped the shark for me.

I can't pick a best season but looking at my scores, 3rd season was lowest for me. However I truly love this show so that that isn't saying much.

I've enjoyed every season but the earlier ones when the kids are younger are my favorites.
